These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of k-cv (cv.krokanti.com), a professional CV and resume building platform operated by Krokanti Games SL, through its software division Krokanti Software. By using our Service, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using k-cv, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our Service.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use k-cv. By using our Service, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 16 years of age
• You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
• Your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws and regulations
• You will provide accurate and complete information when creating an account

3. Account Registration and Security

3.1 Krokanti Account SSO

k-cv uses Krokanti Account (accounts.krokanti.com) for single sign-on authentication. By signing in, you agree to:

• Maintain accurate information in your Krokanti Account profile
• Keep your account credentials secure
• Not share your account access with others
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account

3.2 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage from your failure to maintain account security. Account management (password changes, security settings) is handled through accounts.krokanti.com.

4. User Content and Intellectual Property

4.1 Your CV Content

You retain all ownership rights to the content you create using k-cv, including resume text, cover letters, uploaded photos, and exported documents. By using our Service, you grant us a limited license to:

• Store and process your content to provide the Service
• Display your content back to you in the editor and public CV viewer
• Make backups for service reliability

We will never sell, share, or use your CV content for purposes other than providing you with our Service. Your resume data belongs to you.

4.2 Our Property

The Service, including its design, templates, code, AI models integration, and branding, is owned by Krokanti Games SL and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. Resume templates are licensed for personal use within the Service.

5. Use of Service

5.1 Permitted Uses

You may use our Service for the following purposes:

• Creating, editing, and managing professional resumes and CVs
• Exporting your documents in supported formats (PDF, DOCX, Markdown, JSON, Plain Text)
• Managing your professional profile and cover letters
• Accessing and using available resume templates (free and Pro)

5.2 Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Use automated systems, bots, or scrapers to access the Service or its templates
• Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code
• Create resumes impersonating another person or containing fraudulent information
• Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law

6. Subscriptions and Payment

6.1 Free Plan

k-cv offers a free plan that includes: 1 resume, PDF export (with watermark), 6 basic templates, ATS score (number only), and 3 AI uses per month. The free plan is genuinely free with no download paywall.

6.2 Pro Plan

The Pro plan (EUR 9.99/month or EUR 95.99/year, approximately 20% savings) includes unlimited resumes, clean PDF and DOCX export, all 15 templates, detailed ATS breakdown, unlimited AI tools, cover letter generation, job tailoring, analytics, and version history. Payment terms:

• All subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis through Stripe
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• We will notify you of any pricing changes at least 30 days in advance

6.3 Refunds

Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis. If you are not satisfied with your subscription, contact our support team within 14 days of purchase. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.

7. Termination

7.1 Termination by You

You may stop using the Service at any time. You can cancel your Pro subscription through your account settings or by contacting support. You may request account deletion through accounts.krokanti.com.

7.2 Termination by Us

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, if:

• You violate these Terms of Service
• You engage in illegal or fraudulent activity
• Your account has been inactive for an extended period (12+ months)
• You fail to pay applicable subscription fees

7.3 Effects of Termination

Upon termination, your access to the Service will be revoked. We recommend exporting your CV data (JSON format) before termination. We may retain certain data as required by law. Public CV URLs will be deactivated.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that the Service will help you secure employment. The effectiveness of your resume depends on many factors beyond our control, including job market conditions, employer preferences, and your qualifications.

AI-powered features (rewrite, summary, cover letter, translation) use Google Gemini and results may vary. We are not responsible for AI-generated content accuracy. Always review AI suggestions before including them in your resume.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Krokanti Games SL shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses.

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the liability. We shall not be liable for:

• Loss of data or content due to service interruptions or account termination (we recommend regular exports)
• Indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service
• Temporary unavailability of the Service due to maintenance or technical issues
• Actions or omissions of third-party service providers (Stripe, Vercel, Google Gemini)

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain and the European Union. Krokanti Games SL is a Spanish company (Sociedad Limitada) registered in Spain.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through good faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of the registered domicile of Krokanti Games SL in Spain.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will update the last updated date at the top of this page and notify registered users via email at least 30 days before the changes take effect.

Your continued use of the Service after the revised Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must stop using the Service.
