Getting Started with Krokanti CV Builder
Welcome to Krokanti CV Builder — a professional resume and CV builder designed to help you land your next job. This guide walks you through the entire process from creating your account to downloading your finished resume.
Step 1: Create Your Account
Go to cvbuilder.krokanti.com and click Sign Up. You can register with your email address or sign in with Google. No credit card is required for a free account.
Once registered, you will land on your dashboard where all your resumes are managed.
Step 2: Create a New Resume
From the dashboard, click New Resume. You will be prompted to either:
- Start from scratch — begin with a blank canvas
- Choose a template — pick from professionally designed templates
- Import from LinkedIn — upload a LinkedIn CSV export to pre-fill your resume (see Importing from LinkedIn)
Give your resume a name (e.g., "Software Engineer — 2026") and click Create.
Step 3: Choose a Template
Krokanti CV Builder offers several templates suited for different industries and roles. The Classic template is a great starting point for most professionals. Premium subscribers have access to additional templates including Executive, Creative, and Technical.
You can switch templates at any time without losing your content.
Step 4: Fill In Your Sections
The visual editor opens with your chosen template pre-loaded. Use the left-hand panel to add and arrange sections. The standard sections are:
- Personal Details — name, contact info, location, LinkedIn URL
- Professional Summary — a brief 2–4 sentence overview
- Work Experience — roles, companies, dates, and bullet-point achievements
- Education — degrees, institutions, graduation years
- Skills — technical and soft skills
- Certifications — relevant credentials
Each section is a draggable block. You can reorder sections, duplicate them, or remove ones that do not apply to your situation.
Step 5: Preview Your Resume
Click Preview in the top toolbar to see an accurate print-ready view of your resume. The preview updates live as you make changes. Use this view to check spacing, font rendering, and overall layout before exporting.
Step 6: Export Your Resume
When you are happy with the result, click Export. Free accounts can export to PDF. Pro accounts unlock DOCX, plain text, Markdown, and JSON formats.
Your PDF is generated server-side and renders identically in all viewers — no browser-print artifacts.
